Week 2-3: In the Lab

This summer, I will be working on Scoparia dulcis, Linn,  a medicinal plant used in Africa, India and other parts of the world to treat cancer, diabetes and asthma. It is commonly called sweet broom weed and it has a great potential for drug discovery. Fatimata

Week 2: Touring the Slave River

On the way back to Cape Coast, we visited also the Slave River, which was very meaningful and for me even a little bit more alive than the castle we visited. I left with sad feelings, yet was glad that I got the chance to experience it. Fatimata
